Taken straight from a picture postcard, our glorious flagship property – The Old Lighthouse – is the epitome of North Norfolk’s boundless charm and allure. Sat atop the famous striped cliffs of Hunstanton, this self-catering gem offers panoramic sea views and multi-seasonal appeal – warm and snug in the winter, coastal utopia in the summer. With a delightful open-plan lounge, fully-equipped kitchen and the capacity to sleep up to 8 people with ease, it provides the perfect seaside break for parties of all sizes.
Accommodating up to eight guests in four luxury en-suite bedrooms (two king/twin beds and two king-sized beds), across two floors, The Old Lighthouse is ideal for families and small groups looking for that unique self-catering property with spectacular views.
A fully equipped modern kitchen with a range cooker makes cooking easy, while our sister property The Lodge offers a chef and butler service for an in-house luxury dining experience.
Dog-friendly (though not permitted in bedrooms) and with a large garden and patio area, you have plenty of space to relax outside. And yes, you can even climb the 82 stairs to the top of the Lighthouse and marvel at the 360-degree view across Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton stretching as far as Skegness in Lincolnshire on a clear day!
Please note, that due to the historical nature of the building there are hazards such as steps and stairs which might not be suitable for young children or anyone with stability issues. The Norfolk Coast Path runs at the bottom perimeter of the garden and therefore the garden can be overlooked.

With its spectacular sunsets and striped cliffs, the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton is one of Norfolk’s most distinctive seaside resorts.
Famous for being the only town on the East coast of England that actually faces West, makes “Sunny Hunny” truly unique where you can sit back and relax while watching the sun setting over the sea.
Developed as a seaside resort by Henry L’Estrange in the mid-1800s, Hunstanton today boasts a variety of charming Victorian attractions, wide sandy beach and award-winning floral displays in the stunning Esplanade Gardens, part of the town’s Horticultural Trail, which is particularly impressive in spring and summer.
Hunstanton’s most popular attractions include the Sea Life Sanctuary, Oasis Leisure Centre, Princess Theatre and the Rainbow Amusement Park.
Away from the seafront, Hunstanton’s historic town centre has a quiet village feel with local carrstone cottages, traditional pubs, tea rooms and independent shops.
Welcoming pubs, modern restaurants and traditional cafés can all be found in and around Hunstanton. The Lodge, just five minutes down the road in Old Hunstanton, serves food all day from breakfast and brunch to afternoon tea and a dedicated Vegan menu. The modern bar and lounge are perfect for families (including dogs) or there are the formal dining room and private dining for special occasions.
North Norfolk, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is within easy reach from Hunstanton. Dotted with award-winning blue flag beaches, the North Norfolk coast is perfect for walking the many well sign-posted trails, birdwatching at the two local RSPB reserves and sampling (after picking it yourself) a few local seafood specialities such as samphire and crabs.
