The Old Lighthouse – a unique self-catering holiday cottage,
Hunstanton, Norfolk

Thank you for a wonderful holiday! The lighthouse tower was a great excitement for all. Swimming was fantastic! Great bird watching and spectacular weather. Marvelous!! David Coles

Stay in The Old Lighthouse, an iconic building located on the cliffs between Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton, and now part of Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages’ family. Fully refurbished, The Old Lighthouse provides a unique experience with a beautiful, first floor open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, with a panoramic view of the sea and Norfolk’s famous big skies. Cosy in winter, throw open the balcony doors to get closer to nature when the sun shines. With the beach on your doorstep (getting closer every year!) this is the perfect spot to enjoy the North Norfolk coast.

Accommodating up to eight guests sleeping in four en suite bedrooms (two super king/twin beds, two 5ft beds), across two floors, The Old Lighthouse is ideal for families and small groups looking for that landmark property with spectacular views. The Old Lighthouse is ideal for small groups looking for that landmark property with spectacular views.

A fully-equipped kitchen with a range cooker makes home cooking easy, while our sister property The Lodge offers a chef and butler service for an in-house luxury dining experience. Dog-friendly (though not permitted in bedrooms) and with a large garden and patio area, you have plenty of space to relax outside. You can even climb the stairs to the lookout at the top of the lighthouse and marvel at The Old Lighthouse’s 360-degree views across the Wash, stretching as far as Skegness on a clear day!

Due to the historical nature of the building there are hazards such as steps and stairs which might not be suitable for young children or anyone with stability issues. The Coastal Footpath runs at the bottom perimeter of the garden and therefore the garden can be overlooked.
